Valparai is also known by the name "7th heaven". It is a beautiful hill station located in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. It is located just 64 km away from Pollachi. The road from Pollachi to Valparai consists of 40 hairpin bends. It provides a fascinating experience to riders. The view of  Aliyar dam from road thrills travelers. The best time to visit Valparai is between September to  March. The typical temperature here is between 15 - 25 degrees Celsius during summer and 10 - 15 degrees Celsius during winter. Valparai receives rainfall throughout the year.  The majority of land here is owned by private tea companies. Though Valparai is really beautiful  tourists visiting here are less compared to nearby hill station Munnar

Muvattupuzha...Perumbavur.....Chalakudy...Palakkad......Kuthiran....Pollachi....Valparai  (This route is a bit longer but ride through Sholayar Forest range makes the ride worth it.)

Kumbalangi became famous after the release of Malayalam film Kumbalangi nights stared by Shane Nigam, directed by Madhu C Narayanan.
