  Marmala Waterfall                                               Marmala waterfall is located a few kilometers away from Erattupetta, in the Kottayam district. It is just 8 kilometers away from Theekoy. Marmala waterfall is apart of  Meenachilaar. Those tourists who visit Illikkalkallu usually visit this waterfall as this waterfall is close to Illickalkallu. Travel to this location is open on all days of weak from 6 am to 6 pm. Other attractions near this waterfall are Mankunnu Hillock, Thommankutthu waterfalls, and Malankara Dam. Those who visit Vagamon can also consider visiting this spot.   Route      Muttam......   Scotland of Asia (Vagamon)                   Vagamon is also known as the Scotland of Asia. Vagamon is located in Kottayam -Idukki border. Its main area including Vagamon town is located in Perumedu taluk and the rest is in Meenachil taluk and Kanjirapilly taluk. Vagamon is an all-season destination though traveling during the monsoon is a bit difficult. Vagamon is  1002 meters above sea level. The temperature there varies from 10-20 degrees celsius. Ulipoonni wildlife sanctuary, Vagamon meadows, Pine valley, Thangalpara, Kurishumala, etc are the main attraction here. Paragliding and similar adventure activities are also available here .  KUMBALANGI                                                                      Kumbalangi is an island village near Kochi. Kumbalangi became famous after the release of Malayalam film Kumbalangi nights stared by Shane Nigam, directed by Madhu C Narayanan. Magical Glow (kavaru) in the backwaters of Kumbalangi is one of its main attraction. The light emitted by microorganisms like fungi and bacteria in backwaters causes this magical glow (kavaru). When a part of the reservoir glows up fish in that area moves out resulting in poor fishing. The people of Kumbalangi relies mainly on fishing for their livelihood; nowadays tourism is also providing them with some sort of livelihood. VALPARAI ROAD TRIP

    VALPARAI Valparai is also known by the name "7th heaven". It is a beautiful hill station located in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. It is located just 64 km away from Pollachi. The road from Pollachi to Valparai consists of 40 hairpin bends. It provides a fascinating experience to riders. T he view of  Aliyar dam from road thrills travelers. The best time to visit Valparai is between September to  March. The typical temperature here is between 15 - 25 degrees Celsius during summer and 10 - 15 degrees Celsius during winter. Valparai receives rainfall throughout the year.  The majority of land here is owned by private tea companies.
